Jane App CRM integration: HubSpot, Salesforce and the rest

How clinics connect Jane App to a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce: what Jane's partner platform allows, what to sync, and what to keep in Jane.

The short version

  • Jane connects to other software through the Jane Developer Platform, for approved Technology Partners.
  • A CRM connects to Jane through a partner that is registered with Jane and authorized by the clinic.
  • The useful sync is booking status and attendance going to the CRM, and qualified enquiries going to Jane.
  • Clinical notes and charting stay in Jane.
  • Clinic Conductor is live in production with Jane App and connects it to the clinic's CRM.

Why connect Jane to a CRM

Jane runs the schedule, the chart and billing. A CRM runs the enquiry, the follow-up and the campaign. Connected, the CRM knows who booked and who attended, so marketing stops chasing people who are already patients and the clinic sees which campaigns fill the calendar.

How the connection works

Jane's route for third-party software is the Jane Developer Platform. A CRM does not plug into Jane on its own; a Technology Partner registered with Jane connects to it, the clinic authorizes that partner, and the partner moves information between Jane and the CRM.

From enquiry to booked patient, both systems in step

  1. 1EnquiryA web form, call or message arrives and is qualified.
  2. 2CRMThe contact and its source are recorded in HubSpot or Salesforce.
  3. 3JaneA booked appointment is created in Jane, with the patient's details.
  4. 4Back to the CRMBooking status and attendance return to the CRM to close the loop.
Clinical information stays in Jane. The CRM receives status, which is all a campaign needs.

What to sync, and what to leave

  • To the CRM: booked, attended, cancelled, and the service line where useful.
  • To Jane: a qualified new patient with the details the intake needs.
  • Nowhere else: chart notes, results and anything clinical.

Questions, answered

Does Jane App integrate with HubSpot?

Through a Jane Technology Partner that connects to both. Clinic Conductor is live in production with Jane App and connects it to HubSpot and other CRMs.

Does Jane App integrate with Salesforce?

The same way: a partner registered with Jane connects Jane to Salesforce, and the clinic authorizes the connection.

Can a CRM read Jane chart notes?

It should not need to. A well-designed integration sends the CRM booking status and attendance, and keeps clinical information in Jane.
